COVID 19 Safety measures

Cosmetic Dentist in Naples FL

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

Prior to your appointment please follow this link, fill in your patient information, and select the COVID 19 Form under Patient Forms. Once you have answered the questions press “submit” and your responses will be recorded in your chart. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at the office.

  • We have implemented a “virtual waiting room” and ask that you call from your car when you arrive at your appointment, you will then be greeted at the door by staff who will initiate an in office screening and temperature check.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. A disinfectant gargle of Hydrogen Peroxide or Chlorhexidine (Peridex) will be provided to you at the start of your appointment.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We have also added some additional protective measures:

  • Clinical staff will be wearing eye protection, N95, ASTM level 3 or equivalent face masks, plastic face shields, scrub caps, and fluid resistant surgical gowns.

Unfortunately, due to the high costs associated with additional infection control, personal protective equipment, and safety measures, you may see an additional fee of $15 for some appointments based on procedure type. Some insurance companies may cover all or a portion of this fee and some may exclude coverage. We do not expect this fee to be long term, but right now due to a global shortage of Personal Protective Equipment causing significant price increase and social distancing recommendations requiring longer appointment times, it is necessary.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment or reschedule an existing appointment, please call our office at office number (239) 591-3330.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends!
